The journey to a Michelin star starts with one opportunity, one rogue chef giving some lowly dishwasher or even man off the street his first chance to really cook. That opportunity came for my boy Izaac yesterday after months off work. A chance to prove himself as a line cook in the world of the culinary dark arts.
His thirst to travel to places unknown and an Anthony Bourdain-inspired tattoo, as well as his love for food and cooking means that the Bourdain legacy lives on in another human being.
